Damp Grain Treatments

There are several different products on the market which we are able to incorporate into specific farmers' rations to help to keep or enhance damp grain in a variety of ways. Most of the Urea based products help to Neutralise or even raise the feeds Ph to between 8 - 9, which helps the rumen function, increases the protein content and also improves the digestibility of the feed. Most farmers will be aware of Propcorn as a simple and effective treatment of damp grain which also enables you to be able to treat a large amount of grain at once in the Summer/Autumn and then not have to worry about milling over the winter whilst you use the treated feed.
